You have your hair colored regularly, but you are not a big fan of the transition period between two hairdresser appointments, when the intensity of your hair color decreases strongly? Or do you find your natural hair color a bit boring and now want to try something new? Then our glosses and color masks are the answer for you! Discover our range of color masques that offers the perfect shade for every hair color.
Glossing or hair gloss is an intensively nourishing hair mask with color pigments that gives natural or colored hair an extra dose of shine and color freshness. As a shine treatment and color enhancer, our color masques work from the roots to the tips, producing very individual color results: In blonde hair, for example, they neutralize unwanted gold reflections or impart the finest nuances - from cool Scandinavian blonde to warm pastel blonde. They also intensify the depth of color, support luminosity and impart multi-faceted reflections - from soft cappuccino brown to brilliant copper and metallic gray.
But even without color pigments, our color masques give your hair a radiant shine and a refreshed finish.
The benefits of Hairgloss are the following:
- radiant luminosity
- long-lasting color brilliance
- deep conditioning
- individual color formulations
- intermixable
Glossing and tints are similar in the principle that these products can be used to color the hair, but the mode of action and durability are different.
A hair glossing gives the hair shine and refines the hair color - whether for colored or natural hair. The color pigments contained freshen up colored hair and give new color shine, while natural hair receives a radiant and intensified color finish.
Due to the fact that a color mask focuses on the caring effect, the hair structure is not attacked - which makes this method of hair coloring the least intensive.
A tint, on the other hand, changes the hair color for several weeks and is used to refresh the color of colored hair or to try out a new hair color without changing it in the long term. Since the cuticle of the individual hairs is slightly opened during tinting in order to deposit the color pigments in the outer fiber layer, the hair is not pigmented through to the core, but the hair structure is still changed.
Since, unlike a tint, the color pigments in glossing are not incorporated into the cell structure of the hair, the color result lasts for a shorter time. Depending on the product and application, glossing can last from a few hair washes to four weeks. At the same time, the result and its durability also depends on the selected color, your natural hair color and your hair structure.
If you want to spice up the color shine of your hair between two colorations or simply want to try something new, you can easily try it out yourself in your home bathroom - with our super-easy-to-use color masques, you can refresh the color in just a few minutes.
First, prepare your hair optimally by washing it with a suitable shampoo for your hair structure and hair needs. If you are not quite sure which shampoo is right for you, take a look at our hair care advice.
After washing your hair, gently squeeze it with a soft towel. Then apply the color masque of your choice evenly to towel-dried hair and work the product into the lengths and ends with a coarse-toothed comb to achieve a uniform color result. Depending on the desired color intensity, our glosses have an application time of 5 to 15 minutes - once this time is up, it's time to: Wash out.
Finally, it's time for blow-drying and styling.
If you'd like to make your dull hair color shine, get the yellow cast out of your bleached hair or test out a new hair color without having to commit to it long-term, our color masques are your new best friend. As an intensive care product they help your hair to shine again and as a color mask they intensify or change your hair color - and make you shine.
